How on earth can the Army claim any credibility about bringing justice to far-flung war zones when it can
Al Queda won a victory in Balud, Iraq, the day Lavena Johson was raped and murdered. Al Queda did not have to send a sniper into the camp of Lavena Johnson, They did not have to wait unitl she was in a transport vehicle to detonate a improvised explosive device, they did not have to plan an ambush, or frontal attack. . They simply waited for one of her own to take her out.
That’s only part of the shocker. What happen to Lavena Johnson is not expected to happen in any part of our society, , but there is that possibiltiy that it could. And possiblities grow even greater in a stressful environment when male are placed with females in a close living, and working combat enviroment.
What Could the command of Lavena Johnson have done to prevent her rape and murder? Most likely nothing, She did not have a clue of what was about to happen to her, and if she did, the first person’s she would have discuss it with, was her love ones, who she was said to be close with., That problem lays in the lap of the Department of Defence, with its rules and regulations on living standards for men and women deployed to combat zones
What should concern us most about the command of Lavena Johnson, is the After Fact.
The fact that after the discovery of her body, raped and murdered, and disfigured, they came to the conclusion that she commited suicide, when the evidence is clear to even those of us back home, that this is extremely impossible, WHAT THE HELL WHERE THEY THINKING WHEN THEY CAME UP WITH THAT CONCLUSION. I can tell you exactly what they where thinking. The first thing on their mind was who was most likely capable of commiting such a crime, And the suspect became guilty
Well you might think , if the evidence was clear, and so was the suspect, why not did they make an arrest. . Because when ever there such a crime of this magnitude, the Dept of Defence is immediately notified, and so is the President. Who you think wanted to hide this the most. The Bush Administration does not look to good, on the domestic level, or international level, This administration, and the people which support it, has the scent of death and deceit. Someone gave the order to the command, to cover this up, They could not afford anymore bad publicity.
